Carrying the theme, “Art from the Heart Binds us Together,” this year’s event celebrates the 90th Anniversary of Penney Retirement Community (Penney) and the 67th Annual Arts & Crafts Sale with a display of quilts created by residents of Penney as well as heirloom quilts created by family members of Penney residents.

The Wellness Clinic sponsored a Community Health Fair in September at Barrows Hall. It was a huge success. 18 vendors had plenty of information to share with Penney residents as well as people from the surrounding area. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Dr. David Hatch will be at Penney this Wednesday, Sept 30, 7pm, at Barrows Hall for an enlightening presentation on Prison Fellowship. The Florida field director helps churches identify ministry opportunities related to prisoners. His biography is amazing!  This is a benevolence of Penney Memorial Church and could be for other churches, too.

Residents and staff have begun marking the 90th anniversary of Penney Retirement Community with a variety of activities, including a recent fashion show.

Penney Retirement Community’s annual 4th of July Celebration schedule includes a day full of activities for every age. The day begins with a 7:30 a.m. ceremony at the flagpole at the front entrance to the Penney campus.
