Assisted Living

Beyer House and Penmor Place are Penney’s two assisted living homes

Beyer House and Penmor Place are Penney’s two assisted living homes that provide care for residents who need individualized support and care. Both homes offer comfortable apartments, with 24-hour supervision, housekeeping, personal laundry services and assistance with activities of daily living as needed. Residents in assisted living may dine in their assisted care home or continue to dine in the main dining room on campus. We support aging together. Our larger two room apartments are perfect for couples who want to remain together even if only one needs assisted living.

You have the freedom to furnish and decorate your home any way you wish. Bring treasured furniture and belongings or make a fresh start with new pieces that make every day living even more comfortable.

Hagen Memory Care

The Hagen Memory Care staff is trained in compassionate, person-centered memory care.

The Hagen Memory Care staff is trained in compassionate, person-centered memory care. The staff serves with respect for the dignity of each resident living there. Hagen is uniquely centered in the heart of our campus ensuring that friends and family may visit often. Hagen has a home-like atmosphere with a thoughtful layout and design that reduces confusion while providing complete security both inside and in the courtyard outside. The beauty of Hagen Memory Care Home is that while one spouse may need memory care, the loved one is only a walk away and the couple can continue to spend quality time together.

Respite day care and extended stays at Hagen are also available when families require such services. Taking care of the caregiver is an important goal for us. To that end we facilitate supportive services as needed.

Pavilion for Health Care

The Pavilion for Health Care has the capacity to serve individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation as well as those who need home-like 24 hour nursing care. The 50-bed Pavilion was designed with substantial input from Penney residents themselves. Our goal is to blend state-of-the-art skilled care nursing with individualized, loving care for our residents. The Pavilion for Health Care has earned the Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence in Long-Term Care nine times spanning the past 18 years. The Governor’s Gold Seal is awarded to nursing care homes based on their quality of care, financial stability and staff retention. Because The Pavilion for Health Care is a part of our continuing care retirement community, couples can continue to age together - even if one of them lives in the nursing care home.
