While many of our fellow residents are summering in cooler climes, we who remain on campus might have a long, hot summer ahead, but it will not be dull!  The Summer Social Committee has planned three entertaining events so mark your calendars and plan to join in the fun!

The fundraising event, Saturday, April 9, was a success in more than being a fun evening of music, food and fellowship. The CFF Committee and Penney President/CEO Teresa Scott were able to donate $10,000 to the Penney Memorial Church Building Fund.

GREEN COVE SPRINGS – For the second time, the Florida Department of Health has recognized the Town of Penney Farms for being a healthy, active community. Town officials were recognized publicly at the Feb.

This Saturday evening a special concert will be presented at Jacoby Symphony Hall in downtown Jacksonville. Presented by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the program will be called The Jacksonville Civic Orchestra – JSO members with guest musicians of the area will play a program on Saturday, February 6th, at 8 pm.

Friday, Nov 6, from 9am-4pm, and Saturday, Nov 7, from 9am-noon. Get ready for a Handcraft Market, Artisan Gift Gallery, Art Sale, Bake Sale, a Featured Artists and much, much more. If you’ve been here before, you’ll love the way it’s grown. If you’ve never been, you’re in for a wonderful  surprise.
