Carrying the theme, “Art from the Heart Binds us Together,” this year’s event celebrates the 90th Anniversary of Penney Retirement Community (Penney) and the 67th Annual Arts & Crafts Sale with a display of quilts created by residents of Penney as well as heirloom quilts created by family members of Penney residents.
Residents and staff have begun marking the 90th anniversary of Penney Retirement Community with a variety of activities, including a recent fashion show.
Penney Retirement Community’s annual 4th of July Celebration schedule includes a day full of activities for every age. The day begins with a 7:30 a.m. ceremony at the flagpole at the front entrance to the Penney campus.
Ann Tillou Ann Tillou, a resident of Penney Retirement Community, was honored as the oldest living graduate by Ohio Wesleyan University on June 18. Tillou, 102, is a 1935 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan (OWU) and has been a resident at Penney since 1979. OWU President Rock F.
